Forgotten Tradition
Hello, my name is Sofia G. Jones. I am the daughter of Leah and Ronnie Jones, who also have a site called Jones Family Farm.
I believe that I am to remind people of a simple life of caring for others with a heathy mindset of modesty and assurance. Since the beginning of time God has given mankind the simple job of caring for the earth.
Animal care is just making sure you are breeding strong heathy animals that do not get sick as often and continue to produce good; meat, milk, eggs, etc. Keeping records helps you to consider what animals should be bred to another animal or not. At the moment I have four goats (Methuselah, Heidi, Gem and Pollen) which will be the start of my tribe!
I hope to one day start a family farm with many more animals, if God permits.
Another forgotten skill is in the home. Women all around the world have forgotten how important a home is. I believe that as a woman I am to be the best I can where I can and for me it is in the home.
Proverbs 31:24-26, Says that a virtuous woman can stay home and use her creativity to create things that she can sell to strengthen her house, that strength and honor are her clothing and she does not worry. In a world where women are chasing strength and power, this looks weak, but it is not in God's eyes.
I have found an interest in sewing modest clothes for women, hoping it will bring women back to a forgotten tradition where women cared about how they were dressed with humility and consideration, they would cover themselves. Not because of fear but love for the men of God around them.
